Welcome to Good Shepherd!
Good Shepherd members find a meaningful experience in worship, knowing they are forgiven sinners by the gift of grace in Jesus Christ. That grace abounds in the hearts of the members. Some of our newer members describe the congregation as "warm and inviting, like walking into a family."
We invite you to join us in worship.
Notification of service cancellation due to inclement weather or other reasons will appear here.
Please Read: Mask Update
Masks are not required during service for fully vaccinated worshipers.
Resumption of Services
Services have resumed in the Sanctuary and are usually not available online via Zoom. Members of the congregation should contact Pastor Albrechtsen for ministry if they are uncomfortable attending services. Wednesday Bible Study will continue via Zoom.
Click here for instructions on setting up Zoom for Bible Study. Please connect 10-15 minutes before Bible Study begins.
New Visitors
Welcome to Good Shepherd's website! Here's a sample of the FAQ from our new visitor section (read the whole article here). Please note that services are being held online until corona virus restrictions are lifted.
Q: What time do services start?
A: Services are held at 11 AM on Sunday. Services are held at our church in Hurley and occasionally online via Zoom. You are also welcome to join us for online Bible Study at 7:00 PM on Wednesday.
Q: What should I expect when I visit Good Shepherd?
A: A community shaped by the love of Christ. The people of Good Shepherd recognize that on their own, they are sinful and separated from God. But they also realize that they have been forgiven and reunited with God through Jesus' death on the cross and resurrection from the dead. You’ll notice the joy of Christ drives our worship, and our interactions.
Bible Study
Online bible study occurs on Wednesday at 7:00 PM via Zoom, except for summer hiatus. In addition, women's bible study occurs on Wednesday at 10 AM via Zoom.
